TEVETA Orients Newly Appointed Board Members
The Technical, Entrepreneurial and Vocational Education and Training (TEVET) Authority has successfully conducted an orientation session for its recently appointed Board Members, marking an important step in strengthening governance and advancing skills development in Malawi.
The orientation was graced by the Honourable Minister of Labour, Skills and Innovation, Honourable Joel Chigona, who urged the Board to work with unity of purpose in championing skills development as a key driver of Malawi 2063.
In his remarks, TEVETA Executive Director, Mr. Elwin Chiwembu Sichiola, assured the Board of Management’s unwavering commitment to work hand in hand with the Board in implementing its directives and promoting TEVET programmes nationwide.
Board Chairperson, Mr. Gilbert Chilinde, reaffirmed the new Board’s zeal and dedication to improving skills development in the country and pledged to discharge their roles with diligence.
Following the orientation, Board Members toured the TEVETA Secretariat Offices to appreciate the Authority’s structure and operations.
